SAM MAKES A DREAM DEBUT FOR BMR

Race Details: 7th Nov ’21 | PFi | Autumn Cup – Round 3

This weekend saw the team take debutee Sam Heading and Harvey Riby to PFi for their Autumn Cup Round three event.

Sam Heading opened his winning account for the team in tremendous style. New boy Sam certainly had a point to prove. Qualifying on Saturday saw him take pole by over 1.5 SECONDS… wow. Heat races on Sunday saw him consistently in the top 10 for every lap, taking a P4 and a P7 in the heats. This lined him up 3rd for the final.

Harvey’s first step into the Senior X30 class saw him qualify P13 in the miserable, wet Saturday qualifying. A decent start to the new class. The second of our drivers to consistently stay in the top 10, even though it was his first race in seniors. A respectable P9 and P8 in the heats saw Harvey line up P8 for the final.

The final was sublime. part way through the race, the BMR boys managed to push together, showing just how teamwork gives yo an edge over the competition! The BMR train cut through the few in front with Sam leading Harvey. The two lads pushed and crossed the line in P1 and P2 respectively, by nearly a second to the rest of the grid!

Well done Sam for taking your first race win with the team and another  well done to Harvey for an amazing step up into the Senior class. You two will be a force to be reckoned with in ’22.

Next stop… Kimbolton!
